There are a few interesting dynamics in play as the NHL trade deadline approaches. Tonight’s game between the Atlanta Thrashers and Toronto Maple Leafs could be Marian Hossa’s final game as a Thrasher and Mats Sundin's final home game as Leafs' captain.

It took a few months for Scott Hartnell to get settled in Philadelphia, but since Dec. 27 the former No. 1 pick (6th overall) for the Preds in 2000 has been on a tear for his new team, leading the Flyers to a 12-2-1 record since that time and into first place in the Atlantic Division.
